Ford 427 Concept
As I moved from the European Ford studios to the North American organization I was perplexed by the lack of an American design language in the projects underway. At the beginning of my assignment in the Brand Imaging Group in California, I undertook a personal project to explore this.
My aim was to create a distinct identity and language for Ford North America that honored its rich history and the brand values of simplicity, strength and honesty.
As the project developed it was championed by J.Mays, the then VP of Global Design, to influence the DNA and front end identity across all North American Ford products.
